If you're seriously doing business on the WWW, you may consider to have your own domain name. Internic is the organization who provide domain name registration in the US. There are other organizations handle the registration in their own country or specific regions. Where can I have my site hosted?

This is the difficult question. If you cannot setup your own server, you may consider having web hosting providers to host your site.
You can choose from a lot of different web hosts. It's important to compare between different providers and to make sure that you really get the features you need, you don't want to pay to much, but still you don't want to be stuck with a provider that doesn't upscale your needs. Free Web Pages:
Yahoo provides links to free places. The most popular place people on the web go for free hosting is at Geocities. Anyway, there are many limitations of having your site host with free service providers. For example, you aren't allowed to make sub directories or use your own CGI.

The following types of memberships are offered to individuals:
Student membership:
open to full time students (not for correspondence or part time).
This allows you to borrow 3 books/CD-Roms and 3 journals for a period of 3 weeks. In place of 3 journals 1 book can be borrowed. You also get a lot of added services like free subscription to Class Out journal for a year and access to workshops in the library as part of this membership. The annual subscription is Rs.1000/-

Personal membership:
is open to anyone above the age of 16. This allows you to borrow 3 books / CD-ROMs and 3 journals for a period of 3 weeks. In place of 3 journals 1 book can be borrowed. The annual subscription is Rs.1200/-

Classic DVD membership:
allows you to borrow 3 books/CD-ROMs from the general collection, 3 journals and 1 DVD for a period of 3 weeks. In place of 3 journals 1 book or DVD can be borrowed. .The annual subscription rate is Rs.2000/-

Classic YLC membership:
allows you to borrow 6 books/CD-ROMs from the general collection or Young Learner Centre and 3 journals for a period of 3 weeks. In place of 3 journals 1 book can be borrowed. .The annual subscription rate is Rs.2000/-

Family membership gives you access to both the general and Young Learners Centre collection. The members can borrow 7 books/ CD-ROMs from the general collection or from the Young Learner Centre and 1 DVD for a period of 3 weeks. In place of 3 journals 1 book or DVD can be borrowed. The annual subscription is Rs.2600/-.
We do not offer postal membership and hence open to individuals residing in and around Chennai. For enrolling, you need to fill-up the specified application form (available in the library) and produce a photocopy of the college/ school or work id. (as the case may be).

You are welcome to visit the library any day between Monday and Saturday 11.00am-7.00pm
